I know most folks here are Nostr only and that's cool, I get it... There's also self hosting tools like Owncast and PeerTube. Great for hosting work, be that music, tech, chat, funky socks or whatever, both open source and simple to set up with something like Yunohost. No need for YouTube or Twitch... Control your data.
PeerTube supports V4V, I'm still to test it for streaming but I've hosted a bunch of music on my server, ranging from old pirate radio tapes recorded in London in the early 90s through to a lot of my own productions.
I don't fuck with Spotify, g00gle or any of those vultures, it's a harder road to travel, there's a lot less dopamine and it tests the brain trying to figure it out but it's cool at the same time.
Thought I'd share seeing as people are getting kicked of YouTube. People talk about Rumble etc. but it's just another YouTube in waiting.

I'm totally into taking the internet back. Governments AND corporations are cunts. Seems like government gets all the hate round here... I like to distribute it a little more fairly lol.
My tastes are niche and that's the best thing about it. I'm not a coder but can still set this sort of thing up. Happy to chat to anyone interested in this sort of thing.
