As opposed to a hot take?
80% is old content making every first act of old levels just old content verbatim. The special stages are new, but that's such a tiny part of an already short game. Sandy saloon or whatever is an actually new level.... But one of the acts is entirely just a boss fight. Sandy saloon and studioopolis are pretty much the only new levels.
I ain't huffing the copium. The sonic fandom had a massive fucking boner for Sonic Forces, they may as well have came buckets as soon as it was announced that there was going to be a low risk, antiquated sonic game coming out.
