I had a copy of II for GBA, but can't find it now. I hear III is the best, and I have the PSP remake. I also have IV, But I'll be taking my usual action game break before I play another RPG. Even when I play another RPG, it will probably be Romancing SaGa 3. It's been calling my name for years.
