A sister called me yesterday asking how to get $5000 into Bitcoin because a pizza she just bought jumped from $35 to $45. One pizza.
I taught her how to buy Bitcoin and then transfer it to a self-custody wallet.
She texts me a little later asking if it's a good idea to cash out her and my brother-in-law's employee retirements of around $60,000, take the hit of 40-50% tax rate, and put the rest, about $35,000 into Bitcoin.
Basically, I replied yes, telling her that if Bitcoin doubles each year in USD terms for the next ten years, in 2034 her Bitcoin would be about $34,840,000.
I feel so thankful and excited for the opportunity to have helped someone who got orange pilled start building her stash.
