Back in August of 2019 when I still had a wood lathe I made a few of my own yo-yos which I named “Cambium”. I gave it high inner walls so that when I let go of the loop and flipped it around the loop tended to lock itself into place, making it easier to catch again. I’ve long since got rid of the lathe (developed a phobia of losing a finger) but I ended up making a cad model of the Cambium which I uploaded to thingiverse so others could try out the design as well if they had access to a 3d printer.
