I sleep on the floor on a futon by choice. I had back pain issues and it helped me to fix them, it is important that you get used to sleep on your back though. Sleeping on your tummy on the floor is not really comfortable. When travelling unfortunately I cannot always sleep on the floor, as my wife prefers luxury hotels 😁.
