Labels, especially in modern culture, act as cultural campfires that people with shared beliefs gather around. Words have a lot of importance (if they didn't, we wouldn't fight so hard to keep 'woman' ours). A LOT of women who identify as radical feminist find the label very important to them, just like the communities they found through the label
What's happening isn't that "standards are being upheld", it's just misapplication of terms which isn't doing anything any good. It's moving the goal posts of what it means to be "radical feminism" further out of reach, incorrectly, when radical feminism already makes a lot of hard asks
Demanding all radical feminists also be separatists will almost certainly not compel straight radfems to be celibate for life, but it will drive women away by making the community more hostile (as it is currently doing)
