nicotine is a nootropic, it makes you think better. unsure if this actually harmful. also rumours is it increases testosterone, which makes everyone feel higher status and more active, energetic
weed smoking oddly makes people skinnier, and helps with psychological issues... at least for a while. so it helps your nervous system to be calmer, which will reduce the stress on your body and stress reduction correlates to better health outcomes on all measures
