tbh if you're able to have the patience with LLMs and ship a minimum viable product or even something that's production ready, I count that person a developer. The ability to get through the absolute bullshit of LLMs with their hallucinations, reintroduction of older bugs, and just flat out getting things wrong, then you're battle tested imo.

it's no different to a pentester using burp or zap to expedite their red teaming, i don't consider them skids.

you could even say modern musicians who use a DAW with 3rd party samples are similar if they aren't using analog.
