"content": "yeah the AMS1117 family is a pretty solid choice - pretty big even though it’s SMT so easy to hand solder, cheap, and many even cheaper clones exist that work excellently (see LCSC). You’ll usually need a pair of 10uF tantalum caps each, but that’s all.",
