I used to not think much about it, but having become aware of how many abled people are buying used wheelchair vans...I think they're actually making it so that disabled people (who tend to be poor) are going to be unable to find many used full-sized vans with lifts at an affordable price.
I just see paratransit van after paratransit van that some sprightly 20 year old abled people ripped the lift out of and refinished on the inside so they can post it to Instagram. #Ableism #VanLife
