90s Moomin is what comes to mind. Hamtaro too. Something more recent would be How to keep a Mummy. Short form stuff like Bananya is good as well, quite literally a cat that lives in a banana with a narrator detailing their escapades. Chis' Sweet Home, Kirby Right back at Ya. Early Digimon is good too, but if they don't like Pokemon they might not care for Digimon. Ghibli movies like Kikis Delivery Service and Ponyo are good choices.
As always, screen them first just to be safe. God I feel old remembering these shows/movies.
