I'm seeing more and more talk of [insert person] "being the Beast."

I'm putting a guide here.

----------

The Beast of the Sea in Revelation is comprised of 7 Heads. These are 7 empires ruling over the Israelites.
It's a wider scope and continuation of the "kingdoms" (empires) in both 'series of empires' prophecies of Daniel.

I'll hold them side by side for understanding.

----------
A key for the format:

An empire, a Head of Revelation's Beast of the Sea
[in brackets will be the corresponding beast in Daniel's series]
(in parentheses will be the corresponding metal in Daniel's statued series of empires prophesied)

I numbered the Heads. Daniel's prophecies begin at the 3rd Head (i.e. beginning with *when the prophet* wrote), while Revelation's view considers the whole, beginning before and ending after.

There is a second Beast--a Beast of the Land--that "is a man" who rules for "a time, times, and half a time." This will also be touched when discussing the 6th Head, as that is where it is discussed in Daniel and Revelation.

-----------------------

----------
5 Heads of the 7 Heads of the Beast of the Sea were fallen by the time of Revelation being written
----------

1: Egypt

2: Assyria

3: Babylon [1: lion] (1: gold head)
Daniel wrote in Babylon, concerning the progression of empires *beginning from his day* to the day God would establish a Kingdom of God--a later "5th" kingdom, beginning by Daniel's count. This 3rd Head in Revelation, Babylon, is the 1st kingdom in Daniel's prophecies.

4: Persia [2: bear] (2: silver torso and arms)

5: Greece [3: leopard] (3: brass belly and thighs)

----------
During John's day--the time of the writing of Revelation--there is 1 Head that *is*, as John writes--the empire of that time that will be slain and then heal.

A second Beast, the Beast of the Land (having lambs' horns and speaking as a dragon) will lead people to follow the 7-Headed Beast of the Sea, upon the healing of the 6th Head.

This 6th Head is the 4th kingdom of the two Daniel prophecies, whose time would also see the establishment of a Kingdom of God as according to the same prophecies. This is why those in Christ's day were particularly asking about the end times; they had reached the end of Daniel's series of empires--what was to them as Revelation is to us--while Christ was proclaiming the establishment of the Kingdom of God.
----------

6: Rome [4: iron teeth beast] [4: iron legs (turning to feet of iron and clay--Daniel's own given explanation tells that meaning)]

Rome falls (Head is slain)
Byzantine Empire (Head is healed)

The 6th Head (under Justinian) establishes the pope as head religious authority and eventually as *the man who crowns kings* who prevents any--great and small--from buying or purchasing if excommunicated, for not having its mark in their thoughts and actions. The Beast of the Land. The pope's title, Vicarius Filii Dei = 666, by Roman numerals. No man rules for "a time, times, and half a time." A *title* of a man does.

Justinian--the 11th legitimate Byzantine emperor--subdued 3 crowns that had rebelled of 10, changed the laws and the calendar, establishing the Justinian Code that established the pope, which lasted "a time, times, and half a time" (1260 years) until Napoleon arrested the pope, crowned himself emperor, and replaced the system with his Napoleonic Code.

During this time, there was a period of 1,000 years when the Adversary (Edomites, jews, who are "the Judeans who are not Judeans" that Revelation warned us of) were kept out of White lands, consigned to ghettos, continually bound away, kicked out.
This is the 1,000 years (the "Millennial Kingdom") during which the Adversary is bound *and then released* as Revelation states.

----------
The 7th Head "will be"--from the time frame of John's recording--an empire following the fall of the healed Head.

This 7th is "to remain a little time" (be brief).
----------

7: Napoleonic Empire

----------

There is an 8th (Revelation 17:9-11) that is of the 7 and "to destruction he goes away" (is the last). This is today's empire: the empire of world jewry, an empire of the Adversary, the 8th empire over us.

We, the Bride, led to the wilderness for an escape for nourishment and momentary relief (as described in Hosea, Amos, Micah, and Revelation 12), are also the Whore of Babylon whom John finds in that same wilderness (Revelation 17), riding the Beast, drunk and the mother of abominations.
We are her, about to be found on Christ's Wedding Day.
He will return to His throne, knows He will find us in such a state, and so saved us in preparation and edification. Salvation--meaning life upon His return rather than destruction--is not our reward, but by grace given. The respective reward of each is our judgment, our reward. Some will wake to everlasting contempt.
----------

So, no, the Beast is not a man who will have his head mortally wounded and healed.
The Adversary does not get their own Christ.
