Mike said that he (Striker) apparently wanted a staff to help him with his projects, so I think money was potentially the issue. From what i've read in the article and listening to TDS 1118, Hovator is the common element in all these optically terrible exoduses. My theory is Striker wanted more funds not only for his journalism but also his own activism, Hovator who seems to control NJP's finances put a kaibash on his plans and forced Mike to reason with Striker somehow. That failed and here we are.
