It of course will come to roost with the financial houses and brokerage clearing companies. Maybe it's some other emergency that makes the financial market's butts tighten up? What happens when liquid markets aren't liquid any more? Like 2008? You remember? The sell side of the bond market disappeared. No one could sell their bonds. So what happened to prices to entice bond buyers to enter the market? Bond prices got on the elevator going down. Untold losses to everyone who owned the bonds if they were forced to sell which can happen. Every hear of margin calls? Not a great place to be. The money market accounts froze, and you couldn't get to your money for over a week. If buyers for all the trillions of refis of Treasuries that's coming up doesn't go well, you could see the same thing happen only worse. Foreign investors ain't all that happy with the Deep State's FED destroying the dollar's value. Today, it's borrowing $1 trillion every 100 days!!!! I N F L A T I O N...More manipulation & destruction of our money. I think it's a major reason for Bitcoin's price right now. If the foreign investors gave the Treasury the middle finger and invested elsewhere, I don't want to even think of the carnage on the values of investment accounts of all types. Your ETF investment could be stuck out there in limbo. Yes, you may be able to sell it, but you may not be able to access the proceeds. That is, as long as the markets don't suspend operations. How many days did they close down over 9-11? I'm sure a Deep State Emergency could be whipped up by these Treasonous Criminals and the Fake News Lapdog Partners But not Bitcoin. Nope.. Going all in on the ETF. On chain and self custody is overrated. The fees seem reasonable and well worth the convenience of having them paper up my coin.
