"content": "A couple of years ago, while splitting firewood, I found this piece of barbed wire embedded in a log. Now I keep it on my front porch as a daily reminder of three things:\n\n- Think as much as you can in terms of longer time scales. Overcoming that fence was a decades-long project for the tree.\n\n- Nature doesn't care about what people want.
