I can speak about what it's like to be a part of a marginalized community, but I certainly cannot speak to what it's like to be black.

Reading about oppression or knowing someone who faces descrimination daily can be extrememely helpful for one's own understanding, compassion, and support etc., but it doesn't qualify as lived experience.
