The sheer breadth of knowledge, casually saying that he first wrote all the code to convince himself that he could solve all the problems, “and then I wrote the paper”, when the white paper was poorly received by mailing list skeptics... the difficulty adjustment, game theory, designing Bitcoin to support a multitude of transaction types (yes, Bitcoin "can" support a turing complete scripting environment at the cost of security), post-quantum cryptography... but disabling all the complexities of the original design before disappearing, with the message that “we should explore them in the future”
Thanks to all the noise from shitcoin affinity scammers, many aspects of Bitcoin design are criminally underappreciated
