I have taken care of a few sexual assault victims over the years in the ER. Anyone who thinks that raped women should have to carry the rapist’s baby to term is a horrible human being with no ability to understand the feelings of others.
Republicans like Ms. Noem have repeatedly doubled down on abortion bans, saying that rape victims should have to carry their rapist’s baby to term, suffer through childbirth, and deal with all of the emotional, physical, and financial costs of that alone.
