Interesting Planet Money #podcast episode on the dangers of getting tax advice from TikTok (great way to invite an audit!). I had several thoughts in reaction:
1. The US tax code needs to be simplified
2. Social media needs tools to disincentivize misinformation
3. People need media literacy, critical thinking training to learn to fact check sources
Now just imagine the effect TikTok has had on our politics.
