I absolutely love this!
I think it could become a special feed in Coracle.
Some time ago I suggested a similar approach to surface new valuable content in the main feed: given a timeframe, visually compact posts from the same authors (e.g. show the most popular followed by a "X other notes" badge that expands the view) , so that each poster has the same physical space, and thus attention.
