The FediStazi crowd quickly spread narratives that literal Nazi / Fash members were “endangering the lives of Trans and Marginalized POC”, so I stopped engaging with that instance and anyone on it out of fear of association.
Now there is some really heinous stuff that some have posted there (and other places), but the vast majority are just trolls making fun of control freak shitlibs.
The thing that concerns me more than shitposters and daft trolls is the chilling effect these far left Maoists wield over political discourse.
I’m all for supporting progressive causes and defending the marginalized, but 90% of the time the people screaming the loudest are rich affluent white liberals using these marginalized groups as a shield to weird power over their political enemies.
