I don't think they'd need a bank account.
Certainly in the UK, you send btc to the address that pops up on the screen and it throws out cash.
In the UK, the options I've seen are for pounds dollars and euros. I think that's the norm.
It usually dispenses dollars, euros and whatever the local currency is. I think.
The main issue is the cut they take, which varies between 5% and 10%. It's certainly worth considering as a last resort.
