If you want more people to follow you, it might be worth writing an introductory post about yourself with the hashtag #Introduction and then pinning it to your profile.

Here's how to pin:

1. Log in through your server’s website
2. Go to the post to pin, click ⋯ and select "Pin to profile"

Pinned posts federate much more widely on Mastodon than unpinned posts. By pinning posts, you're making sure that your profile will never look blank to anyone.

You can pin up to 5 posts at once.
