One of the biggest red flags for me is when someone identifies a solution, any solution, as "the only way to solve" a problem.
This intellectual laziness announces that the person making this blatantly false pronouncement hasn't really thought about the problem to be solved - and that they have a lived experience of entrenched privilege and entitlement that reassures them that no one will dare question their bullshit. It also generally announces that the speaker has a personal agenda that is not invested in solving the problem, but is deeply invested in unspoken consequences of the proposed "only" solution.
Looking at you, Elon, yet again.
