What is the default minimum wage though?
What do I mean? In the 80s a LOT of people made minimum wage, today only .75% of full time workers earn minimum wage. Chik Fil A pays 16 an hour to start today.
Starting wage at Walmart is 14-19 an hour depending on market. Minimum wage is practically meaningless today, what is the aggregate avg. low wage today?
Last as much as I hate inflation this is a deck stacking post. NO a Big Mac is not 8 dollars today. This must be CA or some shit, they are 6 bucks here and in my opinion garbage. But if the default minimum wage here is about 15 bucks that is almost three per hour.
There are so many posts like this. People find the "price" based on national avg from 19whatever and they get the most expensive market today to compare it to. You think you are helping but you are not.
