I don’t think people appreciate enough the fact that they’ve got a whole skeleton inside them. We should fix that by using appropriate language, e.g.,

❌“My bones ache.”
✅“My skeleton hurts.”

❌“Contains calcium for healthy bones.”
✅“Contains calcium for a healthy skeleton.”

❌“I broke my arm.”
✅“I broke my skeleton.”

❌“I felt that in my bones.”
✅”I felt that in my skeleton.”
