Got home from a month vacation.
Old EV (2012 vintage) wouldn't start. Turns out the battery drained — not the motivating battery, but the 12V brick for starting/accessories
Diagnosed and fixed it — recharged the 12V battery with mains power.
Man card renewed ("I fixed the car! 💪")
but also, _why can't I charge the starter battery from the main one_
