The sky was ablaze. As news spread of the approaching celestial catastrophe, the world had spiraled into pandemonium. But amidst it all, I felt a surge of wild exhilaration. No tomorrow meant no rules today.

I stumbled across an abandoned shopping cart in an alleyway, an idea forming in my mind. With a few pilfered items from nearby stores and a lighter in my pocket, I set the cart alight. The flames roared to life. It felt like a beacon, drawing the ghosts of the city towards its glow.

Finding a high-end restaurant, I feasted on the best it had to offer, pairing gourmet dishes with abandoned bottles of the finest wines. Every bite, every sip was a savouring of the end times.

On a whim, I found myself in a music store, smashing a guitar to the rhythm of my own song. My voice and the city’s desolation harmonized, creating a serenade to the apocalypse.

But the flaming shopping cart eventually called me back. I stood beside it, transfixed, feeling the heat on my skin. As the world’s last sunrise began to creep across the horizon, the flames and I danced together, two wild entities celebrating freedom – and not even annihilation could take that away from us.
