Our One Neat Trick was to vote down any bond for a public sewer system.
Having a public sewer means that the State and FedGov will decide you don't have enough vibrant diversity and will write checks for "low-cost housing" in your town.
No sewer, no hood.
We have county water, but everyone in our town is on a septic system.
