Damn straight!
I'm baffled people call T2 the best. It is visually stunning, and a good sequel, but it is in no way as intense, or stylish as the the first film in the series. And, even though people say the baddie constantly takes the form of police officer because it is a figure of authority - I believe this is a weak argument, and a huge falling.
I've seen a good analysis of Terminator which frames it as horror-scifi, and I have to agree. Simply engrossing and dynamic.
