sad to say that mostly black schools still suffers from inferior education, as well as poor funding. and let's not talk about the designed poverty the black community had to deal with for decades if not centuries. not saying that black parents and students are not responsible for poor grades, but there's more at play than them just being black.
remember, at one point and time it was against the law for black folks to be educated. once those laws ended on paper, do you really think it stopped in practice?
