There's likely a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes in the Japanese gaming industry. A few months ago an allegation that Jim "ESG" Ryan was intentionally lying to Sony about how well the PS5 was being sold. Millions of units are sitting in warehouses. (attached that leak, but it's not in order).

Now ESG funds in the west are shutting down. Tech companies are scaling back their DEI by 90%. Rumor is Rothschild has run out of cash. Relevant if true, irrelevant if not. China's economic issues are likely impacting their reputation in the Japanese Entertainment industry which appears to be pulling back from US centered ideology.

If the Japs are moving away from tolerating western localizers it means they no longer fear repercussions for not serving the woke agenda. Why? Anyone know anything more? Even if just rumors you suspect are true. Something big is afoot in the Japanese entertainment industry and it has significant indications of other happenings.

Perhaps the US banking crisis that is kicking off is vastly worse than is being guessed.
