I want to share a story about a transfer amount of $10 by #Bitcoin on-chain.

I started my journey in Bitcoin in the year 2021, and of course like all those who started their journey, it is a journey filled with ambiguity and doubt.

Despite that, I did not stop and started buying Bitcoin, or rather i owned my first coin worth ten dollars when I joined one of the Bitcoin central exchange platforms “not your keys not your bitcoins” (no need to mention names) and of course you will learn about crypto and also try trading to make money quickly and enter the point of panic.
All of this is not important so as not to go too far from the story.

My father is one of the pioneers of economics and central banks.
Like most Boomers, he still believes in banks and in the current financial system that is designed for their generations( in my opinion) not for us the millennial generation.

About two weeks ago, my father wanted to send a sum of money in dollars from his bank account to a bank account in America, unaware that he is originally from a country that is economically banned by the United States of America, because he lives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia He has no problems in creating a bank account in Saudi Arabia or even benefiting from the full services of Saudi banks, he is considered one of the pioneers of banks and established Many additions contributed to the formation of the #Saudi Securities Authority, but #America has no interest in the extent of his additions to the Saudi financial system, as he is from the state of #Sudan, As I mentioned a country banned by the United States of America.
So he sent the money, but was surprised that the American Central Bank FED refused to complete the transaction, and their By returning the money (I would consider him lucky that the FED returned the money and they didn’t confiscated). One year back and after i dove deep into the bitcoin rabbit hole and after reading the Bitcoin standard by Dr. , I wanted to challenge my father and the natural of the current financial system his reaction was “this is nonsense”. At that time I knew a lot about Bitcoin and I still in a learning process (with a programable money you can’t risk not keep learning)
Back to the 10$, this $10 took me by surprise and made me realize the effectiveness, creativity, and genius of Bitcoin (I wasn’t ready for that)
The US Central Bank THE FED refused to complete a money transfer from one country to another just because the sender was from a banned country. It made me fully realize what it means that Bitcoin does not require permission or an intermediary.
Even though the $10 transfer took 5 days to reach my wallet and ironically came from a wallet owner who lives in the United States of America...
Of course, my father now makes dozens of attempts daily to send this money, including reaching intermediaries who demand ridiculous fees to complete this transfer, and here I am received a transfer for only 10 dollars with a transfer fee of less than a dollar (no gloating), this ten dollars made me realize that it is impossible to transfer funds of this small size from one bank account to another bank account, these ten dollars will not even cover the transfer fees, let alone be transferred quickly and efficiently, in time.

When I received the ten dollars, there was pressure in the Bitcoin network at the time. Every day literally I transfer and receive Bitcoin via #Lightning network, which is easier than faster…
I would like to go to my father and explain to him that I received ten dollars from America in five days with a transfer fee of less than one dollar... yet can you Imagine someone who believes in central and commercial banks and the current financial system, how would he react to that, I am not ready for that conversation yet to be honest.
I am in the process of revolting against the system that my father believes in..

There is this One time, he and my little brother and I were discussing how to save in the current economic era. My brother has a two-year-old son now, so my father’s suggestion was to create a savings wallet called (Inheritance Wallet) in one of the banks in order to save for his son.
I laughed sarcastically and told my brother to save for his son in Bitcoin, my brother is curious, But my father indicated that I would be a heretic and I would harm my brother and nephew (I almost became angry), but I controlled myself and that immediately motivated me to create a wallet for my nephew and collect the largest number of #sats for him, and one day it will be my nephew’s share in the future to give him his financial freedom and not go through what i did and his father, and the millennial generation that we are slaves to the boomer generation and their financial systems.

I am still learning and developing myself every day to learn about Bitcoin, money, and business.
I conclude this story by pointing out the necessity of educating our young people so that they do not fall into our financial and economic trap... This ten dollars will remain the best transfer I have made with Bitcoin to the extent of my knowledge.
The realization that gave me is exponentially uplifting, and I will always be grateful to #Satoshi and everyone who leaves their marks on this wonderful system, with the hope that one day I will be influential and also implicit in enriching this peer-to-peer electronic financial system. Thank you all :)
