I used to think the way I remember being around town was just painted with youthful inexperience and fresh eyes. But then I watch old films from the 70s and 80s where even the places that are supposed to be utter dogshit are exactly the beautiful and human-friendly places I remember. What the fuck did we do to ourselves? Fuck.
