Passing this along for all of you coffee drinkers! Grind Size chart for coffee. If your coffee tastes sour, grind it a bit finer for greater extraction. If your coffee tastes bitter, grind it a bit coarser, for less extraction. Rule of thumb coffee-to-water proportion: 20 grams coffee to 12 ounces hot, filtered water. A typical large mug is about 12 oz. #coffee
