After the LastPass hack, I started thinking about how we could "fix" passwords. Of course, using something like signing with a key is optimal.
But most sites currently aren't set up for that, & just want vanilla passwords. Password management software seems like a good idea…

As Bitcoiners, I think there's a better way.
Enter BIP-85. This can be used to create sub-wallets, but it can also be used to generate arbitrary deterministic passwords too.
Why not extend BIP-85 to make vanilla passwords?
