I suppose you could, but a small balance custodial wallet can be useful if you don’t have a lightning node of your own. A LNURL wallet makes it a breeze to receive tips on Nostr without needing to generate an invoice. I use Getalby.com as my Nostr lightning wallet and then setup a LN forwarding address on my domain.
