No snippet. There are too many, & I don’t have power (33 hours & counting).
They’re always the most heartfelt, emotional scenes for one reason or another.
An early one is when Riparia, the only healer option available, goes to assist a girl. There’s her using a gift she doesn’t like to acknowledge, grief over those she’s lost, & discovering a situation worse than expected.
There’s also the distraught parents & the girl, Trayla, who Riparia never forgets.
