the "nothing ever happens" meme is pretty interesting to me. the typical noticer who sees past media narratives is idolized when its about race or other "controversial" truths. but the noticer who sees media narratives as exaggerated to farm attention, is made fun of.
not like making fun of your own ingroups is always bad, but this time its encouraging ppl to take the news more seriously. maybe its a crab bucket thing, the "nothing ever happens" guys are only one step away from leaving the feedback loop of ugly doomer negativity.
