THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I SEE PEOPLE MAKE WHEN IT COMES TO picking paint colors is not learning how the colors will behave in different lighting conditions.
Even a “neutral” color like gray can come in a variety of shades and many surprising undertones. The most common undertones for gray are green, blue, and even purple! So while you think you can just go and grab a nice neutral gray you may be shocked when you start painting and they color is a lot different than what you thought you were seeing on the paint chip.
