Yep, no such thing as a maxi, just people who understand Bitcoin and those that don't. The term maxi implicitly yields credence to the notion of a moderate position, which there is not.

It was a mimetic attack when Vitalik first used it against Junseth (if I have my history correct) and the reclamation of it is not necessarily great since not everyone wants to be a bitcoin berserker (their choice). "Bitcoin only" also gets attacked because people will use that to conflate with non monetary goods, consumption, real investment, etc.

What is the best mimetic term? I don't know, but I like this guy's approach.
