Actually, sound is a super important thing for me to test - I frequently switch between wired and wireless headphones, my wired speakers, and a USB headphone DAC, depending on what I'm doing, so this is a critical thing for Linux Mint to get right.
And so far, I think it gets a pass. It's an extra click to get to the full list of output devices compared to in Windows, but it seems to perfectly detect and switch between everything I have to throw at it.
