I'm growing beautiful dandelions this year in a well-fertilized and well-draining raised bed. The plants are healthy and happy and huge. The flowers were a good inch and a half across and the leaves are stacked so thickly I can barely get my fingers between them to pick them. Contrary to popular belief plants, even those that survive in poor soil, will thrive when given plenty of space and the nutrients they need.
