I've been thinking about Louisiana mandating the 10 Commandments in every public school under threat of withholding critical funding schools need to survive, and the hard truth is this is classic abusive mentality.

Any relationship, whether it's with a person, or with the Almighty, cannot be compelled or threatened. A great man once said, "Swords can win territories but not hearts. Force can bend heads but not minds."
A faith that needs force is a cult.
