the ROMs for each are negligible in size by comparison: MGS1 is something in the ballpark of less than a gigabyte, MGS2 and 3 hover between 1.5gb to 2.0gb
we can split hairs and give Konami the benefit of the doubt with resolution enhancements, but for it to balloon to this size, especially if they're not using the Twin Snakes for MGS1, the size is laughably large

I liked MGS growing up and all but I've seen re-release after re-release. this is one of the franchises that gets it the absolute most and it's tiresome, especially when nobody addresses the elephant in the room to port MGS4 off of the god awful, no-game-having PS3
say what you want about Kojima sniffing his own farts, at least he has the decency to go do something other than the same shit over and over again
