I'm smarter than the average woman, for sure, & I did go through pre-calc, & physics, etc. My male geometry teacher was highly impressed by me, but English/writing was really my thing...
It takes some years beyond high school, even most peoples' early 20's, but eventually you can smell stupid.
That said, even men 5-10 pts behind me in IQ easily probably make it up in drive (testosterone), skills, focus, etc.
