Self-hosting blog site is not as easy and simple as what those hosting providers promised. It still blocks people in the doorway.
Most people tend to use medium or medium-like platforms, as we said the word *platforms*, they have to face single point failures and censorship or we should call it 1984-vulnerable or 404-vulnerable.
So things like flycat.club and habla.news are important, easy to access, better experience than self-hosting-blog-site, no coding required, 404-resistant.
Nostr is game changing, it’s not about revolutionizing social media, it’s about revolutionizing the web, it solves both problems of Web1 and Web2.
