I don't think intentionally listening or reading media you know to be against your position that you react to them in anger is good for your soul.
Being masochistic is not a sign of good health and loving the pain, a very unnecessary pain, is not good.
Unless you're gonna thoroughly deboonk the people making horrible points and show it to them, expecting to persuade an audience of onlookers, you are simply engaging in self-flagellation.
