It makes all the difference though, Bitcoin can't "fix money" if it's not viable money.
I agree that bootstrapping is a very challenging part of growth, and I don't know how you motivate people to put time and effort into something without the promise of a lambo in future, but if we want to "fix money" then we have to move on from Bitcoin.
